Pools and water parks open in time for soaring summer temperatures

It’s been a  wait, but Ballarat is finally set for soaring temperatures, with the first weekend of summer to deliver a hot 30 degree Sunday.

Local pools and water parks will be open for business this weekend with new extended summertime hours.

Eureka Aquatic Centre is open 6:30am – 7:30pm on weekdays, and 7:30am – 7:30pm weekends and public holidays. The centre has picnic and barbeque facilities, 50 and 25 meter outdoor pools and water fountain play facilities.

Black Hill Aquatic Centre is open 3pm – 7pm weekdays, 11am –  7pm weekends and public holidays, plus 12pm – 7pm on weekdays during school holidays.

Brown Hill Aquatic Centre is open 2pm – 7pm weekdays and 12pm – 7pm on weekends, public holiday and school holidays. It features picnic and barbeque facilities, a water slide, water play facilities, a 30 meter outdoor pool and a kids pool.

Buninyong Aquatic Centre will be open 3pm – 7pm weekdays and 11am – 7pm weekends and public holidays. 

It will open earlier during school holidays, 12pm on weekdays and 10am on weekends.
