Two nightclub promoters have pleaded guilty to trying to bring more than a quarter of a tonne of ice into Australia concealed in udon noodle packets.

An Ken Vi and Raymond Lach appeared at the Melbourne Magistrates' Court on Friday, with Lach appearing via video link.
Both men – who were working for Melbourne trance music promoter Majik Entertainment when they were arrested – pleaded guilty to one count of attempting to traffic a commercial quantity of the drug methylamphetamine.
They were among five men who were arrested in July after police found 275 kilograms worth of methamphetamine in packets labelled "Udon Noodles", hidden under the floorboards of three shipping containers.
Police allege the drugs had a street value of $275 million.
The containers arrived in Melbourne about June 19 before being taken to a Bayswater factory.
Magistrate Timothy Bourke remanded the pair to appear in the County Court on April 28.
