Skeemer took 4-29 as North Ballarat restricted The Combine to 114 off its 20 overs. Ballarat-Redan were travelling well as its top three batsmen helped it get to 1-78, but Skeemer and marquee player Tom Beaton (2-18) tore through the top-order to end the innings at 9-114. Phillippe then ensured the Roosters reeled in the total with ease. He made 83 off 71 deliveries as he and Skeemer (9*) put on 47 runs to guide the side to 2-115 in the 18th over.
Brown Hill successfully chased down East Ballarat's 162 runs, hitting the winning runs with four balls to spare. Sam Giblett top-scored with 45 off 26 while Joe Crichard (23), Jason Knowles (28) and Nathan Northcott (27*) also made strong contributions. Jarrod Blandford hit a team-high 38 for the Hawks while Bulls bowlers Ryan Knowles and Tom Bourke-Finn took three wickets each.
