She said having a vote on whether the Roosters stayed in or left the VFL was not an agenda item for the regular monthly meeting.
“I haven’t heard of anything – 100 per cent.”
Bromley told The Courier that the agenda certainly included the club’s financial battle to maintain a presence in the VFL – as it did every month.
The club has called on the Ballarat community to get behind the Roosters financially to enable them remain in the competition.
A report on the AFL’s website on Saturday stated that North Ballarat was set to decide at Monday night’s meeting whether it continued in the VFL.
It also published an AFL Victoria statement on the issue.
"AFL Victoria has been informed about a board meeting at the North Ballarat Football Club on Monday night, and will await the result of that meeting before making any further comment."
Bromley said North Ballarat had been in constant contact with AFL Victoria on the situation.
She said the difficulty the club was having meeting the financial need of fielding a team in the VFL was well documented.
Bromley said staff and the board were continuing to work hard to ensure the club was in a financial position to maintain all its programs – junior and senior football and netball, and the Roosters.
“We’re leaving no stone unturned.”
Bromley also stated she was unaware of any truth to a rumour that a “white knight” had offered to help bail the Roosters out of financial trouble.
