The centre has 15 national tenants confirmed and 18 signed offers on the table overall, H. Troon’s development and operations director Tom McInerney said.
The site will also house a second cinema for Ballarat run by Showbiz Cinemas and a Direct Chemist Outlet Discount Pharmacy, as well as anchor tenants Woolworths and Kmart.
“There's a real confidence in the Ballarat economy and the growth in Ballarat and that's really shown in the level of nationals looking to get into the centre,” Mr McInerney said.
A second key retail precinct soon to be under redevelopment – the Masters Home Improvement site at Eureka Homemaker Centre – is yet to name its tenants.
The big box retail site will be taken over by the Home Consortium, which includes the owners of Spotlight, Anaconda and Chemist Warehouse, when Masters closes in the next four days.
