A range of consultation sessions are being held this week, with residents, residents, ratepayers and stakeholders invited to discuss the future planning and development of arterial roads and major local streets in Ballarat.
In November, council announced it had commissioned a review into the Ballarat Road Transportation Strategy with VicRoads.
The strategy, formed in 2007, documented a list of future needs to ensure Ballarat’s road network will be able to service a rapidly growing population.
The outcome of the review will be the Ballarat Integrated Action Plan – a framework for the development of Ballarat’s transport network over the next 10 years.
Consultation sessions will be held at 312 Sturt Street, (opposite Myer) on:
