At the beginning of the spring, Gary Moore knew he had to change something to get his stable to the next level.

He is always learning about his horses and had noted little things while watching others for a couple of years in Sydney.

"I looked at my horses compared to other horses at Rosehill and they didn't look as good as them," Moore said. "It was just something I saw. I just felt that something was a little bit off and I had to change something.

"I changed my feed and the horses are now looking great and going better.

"My horses are looking better in the coat and have a lot more energy, you can just see it."

Moore made his name as a champion jockey and knows his horses. He has made a habit of getting things right in the past couple of months, particularly with Takedown, who is a last-start group 1 winner heading to Sunday's Hong Kong International Sprint.

He wasn't happy with Takedown during his trip to Melbourne but was able to have him at his peak in Perth.

Takedown looked and performed at his best in the Winterbottom Stakes, which led to Moore fulfilling a racing dream in Hong Kong this week as the potential next dream starts it career at Rosehill on Saturday.

As Moore said: "It is not about one horse, it is about a stable."

When Takedown won in Perth, and after Moore put on his usual over-the-top celebrations for his first group 1 in Australia, he declared he wanted to win the Magic Millions.

"That would be the next one: to win a big two-year-old race. The Magic Millions could be that race for me," he said. "The timing with Takedown was so important leading into the sales season, it helps.

"But it is so important you train two-year-old winners in Australia and that is what the stable needs now.

"You need to keep winning and keep your name up there."

Moore knew he had All Too Huiying​ at home and like many two-year-olds he faces a test of his credentials on debut. The All Too Hard half-brother to Happy Trails won his latest barrier trial and is showing the right signs.

"If he can win [at Rosehill] we are going to be at the Gold Coast," Moore said. "He showed enough for me to be confident to go racing. In his trial last Friday, when Tim Clark asked him to take the split he really did like a nice horse.

"He has gone forward since the trial and is improving all the time.

"It would be good timing if he can come out and show he is up to the Magic Millions but there are plenty of horses trying to do the same thing on Saturday."

All Too Huiying has been marked $9 by Ladbrokes in a market that has Godolphin's Coorg, who came from last to win his only trial, where All Too Huiying was third, a $2.30 favourite.

The Gary Portelli-trained Falconic, a winner of two barrier trials, is $5.50 second pick, while Magic Millions $1.6 million sales topper Chauffeur is $6.50.

"We are hoping that we can have a good day on Saturday and a better one here [in Hong Kong] on Sunday," Moore enthused. "We have Classic Unicorn there as well, he's a bit of a bridesmaid, but is going well in a nice race.

"Then Takedown here on Sunday.  He has settled in great and his work has been good. I'm happy with the look of his coat, it has really come through.

"I actually think he is going better than he was in Perth, which is a good sign."
