“Now in its sixth year, Summer Sundays is a festival like no other,” City of Ballarat Events and Arts acting manager Jeff Johnson said.
“These free concerts give the community a chance to enjoy and discover the best musical talent our city has to offer.”
Mr Johnson said the concerts also supported emerging local talent.
“The City of Ballarat’s ongoing support of the Summer Sundays provides opportunities for Ballarat’s emerging musicians and singers to perform in a spectacular outdoor location,” he said.
Summer Sundays is on Sunday, January 8 and Sunday, January 22 at the Ballarat Botanical Gardens.
Headliners include 2016 FReeZA Ballarat Battle of the Bands winner Anna Oliphant Wright, Liana and The Petite Mort, The Pigs, Elvis Presently, The Pigs, blues singer John McNamara and Leah Senior.
Summer Sundays hours have been extended, from 3-7pm, and entry is free.
