In a rescheduled game following a wash-out before Christmas, the Pointies made light work of Darley to push their way into the competition’s top four.
As a result, East Ballarat, which had been clinging to fourth spot, has slipped out.
Lambert hit 10 fours in his innings of 60 and gained good support from Simon Ogilvie, who needed just 25 balls to blast 50. Ogilvie smashed three fours and five sixes to help his side reach 4-184 from 20 overs.
The all-rounder then snared 3-9 to rattle the Lions for just 56.
Youngster Matt Harris snared 3-14 to be the other star with the ball for the victors.
The victory lifted Golden Point to second on the ladder and books a semi-final encounter with third-placed Wendouree on Tuesday night. The other game will see top side Mt Clear lock horns with Brown Hill, also on Tuesday night.
