11.36AM | A train has hit a person at Southern Cross Station, leaving them in critical condition and causing delays or suspensions to at least five Metro and five V/Line train lines.

Coaches are being arranged where possible.
According to a V/Line spokeswoman, the 9.50am train from Southern Cross Station to South Geelong struck a person at the city station about 10am Friday.

A passenger on a train from Albury/Wodonga to Melbourne reported having to alight the train due to a "human incident" at Southern Cross Station.
"Lots of people coming to Melbourne from the country were worried they'd miss their flights or medical appointments," the passenger told Fairfax Media. "We were encouraged to get onto Metro services when we reached Craigeburn, but the trains were then stopped at North Melbourne.
"Luckily it wasn't peak hour, otherwise it would have been even more chaotic."
An Ambulance Victoria spokeswoman confirmed a train had hit a person on Friday morning, leaving them in critical condition.
Several Metro trains were also impacted.
The Upfield, Werribee and Williamstown lines were partially suspended shortly after 10am at the police's request.
The Upfield line was suspended between North Melbourne and Upfield, and the Werribee and Williamstown lines were suspended between North Melbourne and Newport. Buses were replacing the train lines along those routes.
Meanwhile, the Craigieburn line experienced major delays, of 30 minutes, and the Cranbourne line experienced minor delays, of 10 minutes, as a result of the incident.
However, at 10:50am, all Metro services resumed after emergency services cleared the site.
