The Bulls struggled to find consistency with the bat and were all-out for 117. Brad Barnes took three wickets and was well supported by his fellow front line bowlers who all contributed. Brown Hill opener Dan Davies did the bulk of the work, making 60 runs.
The Lions prevailed in the low-scoring affair to pass the total with four wickets to spare. Matthew Cape top-scored with an unbeaten knock of 42 as Darley posted its fifth win of the season and returns to the top of the ladder.
The Lions now face a stern test against the Red Caps, who accounted for fellow top side Golden Point on the weekend. The clash bodes as a defining 12-point game given the evenness at the top of the ladder.
