The team, which was thumped in last week’s clash with Ballarat District Bowls Division pace-setters City Oval, bounced back to form with a 79-58 success against the Bacchus Marsh-based Avenue.
Rink wins by Leah McArthur and Brooke Ayers helped clinch the result, which is just Webbcona’s third win of season 2016-17.
Despite a good day at the office, Webbcona has not been able to lift itself off the foot of the ladder, but now sits just one point behind Sebastopol.

Meanwhile, City Oval is 24 points clear at the summit after Monday’s 79-51 result in the top-of-the-table battle with Central Wendouree, Midlands Golf was big 40-shot winners in the encounter against Daylesford, Creswick beat Sebastopol by seven shots and Smeaton got home over Buninyong.
