But for former West Coast Eagle and Ballarat export Mitch Brown, his first training session at new club St Kevin’s Old Boys didn’t exactly go to plan.
Despite playing 94 games for the Eagles, Brown told EON Sports Radio of his awkward encounter just minutes into his first kick at the club.
“I thought about retiring again from the ammos (amateurs) and going down to Auskick again,” he said.
