A man who was refused entry to a North Fitzroy pub pulled a gun on security staff and threatened punters in a terrifying incident they said they'd "never forget".

Emily Ulman was with friends in the beer garden near the entrance at the Parkview Hotel when two men got into a fight with security about 1am on Wednesday.
The men had been denied entry for being too drunk, police said.
One of the men hailed a taxi, but the second man pulled out a gun.
Ms Ulman said he pointed the firearm at security staff and then at her and her friends. They ducked for cover under furniture.
"Having to scramble under furniture to save your life. Worrying about your friends with you. I'll never forget it," she said.
Both men then got into the taxi and left.
It was the second alarming incident involving a gun at the late-night venue.
Almost three months to the day, two men armed with a shotgun came into the pub at 2.30am, 30 minutes before closing time, on October 17.
They threatened staff and stole cash before fleeing, police said.
Police said there was no evidence suggesting the two incidents were linked.
Staff declined to comment.
