Friday night’s Ballarat Beer Festival degustation dinner provided the opportunity for beer aficionados to get brewing tips from the best in the business.
At the same time, they got to indulge in a five course meal – including crispy pork croquettes and salted lime cured fresh swordfish – matched with some of the best craft beers.
Ballarat Beer Festival organiser Rick Dexter said 190 people attended the dinner at Housey Housey in Armstrong Street North.
“We just want to present a range of flavours in both food and beer to show how beers can match foods better than wine,” Mr Dexter said.
