A large truck was engulfed by flames in Melbourne's outer north on Wednesday afternoon.

Flames up to three metres high engulfed the truck, sending thick black smoke billowing into the sky in Wollert near Craigeburn.
Craigeburn Road was closed between the Hume Freeway and Epping Road due to the blaze, but has since reopened.
The CFA was called at 2.45pm and the fire was under control within five minutes of their arrival.
The two fire crews cleaned up and returned to the station within an hour.
The truck has been towed away and police are investigating the cause of the blaze.
It is understood the driver was not hurt.
