A stellar line-up of Ballarat leaders will join together to answer just that at the Connect Conference for office professionals next month.
UFS Dispensaries chief executive Lynne McLennan will chair a panel session titled ‘Who’s Making the Coffee?’.
The conference is open to every regional business in western Victoria with a particular focus on empowering support staff.
“I’m hoping this conference will kick-start a bit of discussion and debate and stir things up a bit because that’s what Ballarat does really well,” Ms McLennan said.
Television personality Gorgi Coghlan will also be a keynote speaker at the event.
Ms Coghlan said it was an opportunity for Ballarat professional to access in-depth professional training in their hometown.
“We all need to be supporting each other to be the best we can be at work, but also to be the happiest people we can be,” she said.
“With mental health being such a huge concern, we need workplaces which support and empower us and where you’re not afraid ask for strategies and mechanisms to support each other.”
The Connecting Conference will be held on Wednesday March 8, at the Mercure Hotel and Conference Centre, Main Road, Ballarat.
