Finding Dory will launch this year’s Reach4Research Ballarat Cycle Classic carnival, offering families and participants a chance to relax for a twilight move before an active Sunday schedule.
The screening will be in the heart of the event village precinct with food vans serving up from 6pm, including: a barbecue, pizza, Indian, vegetarian, gelato, hot drinks, fairy floss and, of course, popcorn.
Early registration numbers are strong, with organisers predicting to top last year’s participation rate, particularly with the new pet walk and run added to the program. Mountain biking, the fat tyre challenge, road ride and lake relay ride return to the program.
Registrations are open on site on Saturday, 2-8pm, and Sunday, 7-9am.
All money raised goes to the Fiona Elsey Cancer Research Institute.
