Road upgrade cause delays

Drivers can expect delays on two key Ballarat roads from Sunday to Tuesday, as VicRoads undertakes road surface improvements.

The intersection of the Glenelg Highway, Tait Street and Sutton Street in Delacombe will be closed for north-south traffic on Tait and Sutton Streets from Sunday, February 19 between 7am and 5pm.

Traffic on the Glenelg Highway will be guided through by roadworkers. Drivers are advised to seek alternate routes if travelling in the area.

On Monday and Tuesday the intersection of Main Road, Bradshaw Street and Lal Lal Street will be closed for Bradshaw and Lal Lal Street traffic between 9:30am and 2:30pm.

Drivers on Main Road will still be able to use the roundabout but will be guided through by roadworkers. Drivers should seek alternate routes if travelling in the area, with those visiting Sovereign Hill advised to use Grant Street. The works are part of VicRoads periodic maintenance program.
