A man is fighting for life after being shot in the head at Tatura near Shepparton in northern Victoria on Saturday.

Armed Crime Squad detectives say a 43-year-old Shepparton man was shot during a dispute with another man at a property in Ferguson Road about 1pm.
Ambulance Victoria spokesman John Mullen said the injured man was taken to hospital in Shepparton with a head injury.
He was later flown to the Royal Melbourne Hospital, where he remains in a critical condition.
A 54-year-old Tatura man is in custody assisting police with their inquiries.
