Scam alert: Imposters pretending to be City of Ballarat workers again
City of Ballarat is appealing for all members of the public to be vigilant and to report such behaviour to police.
The following statement has been released by council:
“We've received reports that there may be someone posing as a City of Ballarat Animal Management Officer looking to perform an 'inspection'.
“Please be aware that this person is not employed by the City of Ballarat.
Reports can be made to Consumer Affairs Victoria: https://www.consumer.vic.gov.au/”
