Police have issued a public plea for assistance to help find a Ballarat man who has been missing for more than a month.

Michael Perks, 45, was last seen around midday on January 20 at his George Street home in Ballarat East.
There are some reported sightings of Mr Perks at a Victoria Street bottle shop at about 1pm on that day.
He has not been seen since.
Mr Perks is described as about 174cm tall with a thin build and light brown hair.
He is known to frequent the area surrounding Specimen Vale Creek, as well as the underground tunnels in the Ballarat area.
Police have released an image of Mr Perks in the hope that someone knows his current whereabouts.
