Ross Henderson was recently recognised for his outstanding dedication and commitment to rowing at the Rowing Victoria Awards, receiving the Susie Palfreyman Award, in recognition of his contribution to school rowing.
Henderson, who rowed for Clarendon in his school days, has been a passionate contributor to the school’s program as rowing director for the past 18 seasons.
“Rowing has always been a part of my life and it always will be. I thoroughly enjoy coaching and watching students develop in the sport to achieve personal bests,” Henderson said.
While Barnett is one of the college’s most successful rowing coaches during his time from 1959 to 1967.
He had considerable success coaching at Ballarat Clarendon College winning the Head of the Lake on five occasions and dead-heating once from seven starts.
