Market Day was all about offering Aquinas students a chance to meet with key organisations, including police and the country fire authority, sporting clubs and welfare agencies to learn a little more about what made Ballarat tick. Even the city’s shower bus was on show.
ACU Aquinas Student Enrichment Advisor Darcy De Losa said the market was a fantastic way for students to pursue community interests outside of study.
"At ACU we like our students to get involved and give back to the community outside of class. It creates a fuller university experience,” Ms De Losa said. “The clubs and societies on campus offer a diverse range of opportunities for students to get involved in. Market day offers students information about university services and allows students to make connections with the wider community.”
Classes started this week.
