A shark was spotted in waters off Elwood Beach on Saturday morning.

Life Saving Victoria general manager Paul Shannon said the shark, measuring about six feet in length, was sighted near the rock wall at Point Ormond at 7.45am.
Fisheries crews were able to capture the animal and it has been taken to Melbourne Aquarium, he said.
The sighting did not cause Elwood Beach to be closed and the area remained open to swimmers on Saturday.
It is one of several shark sightings in Port Phillip Bay this week.
St Kilda Beach was closed on Monday from about 8pm after a confirmed sighting in waters close to the beach.
There were also shark sightings at Brighton Beach on Tuesday and Hampton Beach on Sunday.
Mr Shannon said the shark captured at Elwood may well have been the one that triggered the closure of St Kilda Beach on Monday.
"The shark hasn't really posed a threat to anybody," Mr Shannon said. "Hopefully that will be the last we see of sharks this season."
"But you can never say never," he added.
