No, it wasn’t police searching for clandestine marijuana farms.
It was probably a helicopter taking 3D photos of power lines for energy distributor Powercor.
“We use those images to understand the condition of the poles and wires, as well as the vegetation in the area,” a Powercor spokesman said.
