Pyrenees Shire Council is trialling a new consultation method, named ‘Keep Me in the Loop’, aimed to improve community engagement and offer residents more chance for one-one-one access to councillors and council officers.
The sessions will offer details on the upcoming budget, a preview to a new planning project, the next steps in a recreation strategy and a flood recovery update.
Pyrenees chief executive officer Jim Nolan said council was keen to keep improving community engagement and looked forward to testing the new format.
Sessions – March 28: 6-8pm Beeripmo Development Centre, Beaufort. March 29: 6-8pm Avoca Hall Supper Room.
