A woman in her 50s has been airlifted to the Royal Melbourne Hospital after falling off a bike in Wendouree this morning.

Cyclist airlifted to Melbourne
Ambulances were called to the woman on Gilles Road at 8.15am who was taken to the Ballarat Base Hospital with face lacerations as well as head and spinal injuries.
No other vehicles are believed to have been involved in the incident.
The woman is in a serious but stable condition.
