The ninth annual Golden Plains Arts Trail will feature 23 new artists’ work for people to hunt down and explore.
A Gold Trail will take people on a path through artist bases in Haddon, Smythesdale, Smythes Creek, Linton and Corindhap.
Kath McLean, aged 90, will exhibit a mini retrospective of her works from the past 20 years at Rosalind Lawson’s Studio in Napoleons.
The youngest artist on show is Cathrine Taylor, a 14-year-old in Teesesdale, who loves to explore with different colours and textures. Taylor will exhibit her work at the Teesdale Hall on the Red Trail, which also features artists in Batesford, Bannockburn, Inverleigh, Wingeel, Maude and Meredith.
Golden Plains Arts Trail attracts about 2000 visitors to the region for the two-day event. Specially trained Arts Trail volunteers will be at various studios to assist. Details: artstrail.com.au
