A bat-wielding female smashed the windows of a parked car that a frightened woman was hiding inside during a terrifying attack at the Ballarat Specialist School this morning.

Police say the female victim was driving her black Mazda 6 near the intersection of Sturt and Gillies street toward the school when she noticed a white a hatchback with a black stripe closely following her. A man and his female passenger were inside the white car.
Just before 7.30am the victim drove into the school carpark and watched as the male driver of the white car circled the otherwise empty carpark.
The victim, who remained in her locked car, reached for her phone to call police.
The baseball bat wielding female offender got out of her car and approached the victim’s car.
She began to swing the bat toward the car smashing the driver’s side window.
The female then ran back to the hatchback and fled the scene in a northerly direction along Gillies St towards Wendouree.
The female offender is described as being in her 20's, skinny with orange and blonde coloured hair.
The victim sustained minor injuries to her arms. Police say the incident is an unprovoked attacked.
