A woman who allegedly rammed a police car and randomly attacked another woman with a bat has been arrested and charged by police.

Ballarat divisional response unit police arrested a 24-year-old woman at Ballarat address on Wednesday afternoon.
The woman was allegedly involved in a road rage incident at the Ballarat Specialist School on Wednesday morning that left another woman with injuries.
The 24-year-old allegedly got out of her white vehicle holding a bat and approached a black Mazda 6 where an unknown victim.
It is believed the white car was driven by a man who has not yet been charged.
The victim, who remained in her locked car, reached for her phone in an attempt to call police.
The woman allegedly wielded a bat smashing the car windscreen before fleeing the scene.
She was arrested over this incident and another incident in Gordon.
Police allege she was involved in the ramming of a police car on March 13.
She had been charged with a number of serious offences including conduct endangering life, evade police, criminal damage, burglary and theft.
She has been remanded into custody and will appear at the Ballarat Magistrates Court on March 30.
Police have condemned the alleged attack as “frightening” and do not believe the victim was known to the offender.
Ballarat Specialist School could not comment on the attack and would not say if the victim was a member of staff.
