Head coach Gerard FitzGerald has stuck with the inexperienced combination which lost to Geelong Falcons by 82 points in the opening round of the under-18 football competition.
The Rebels, which featured 15 debutants, was swamped in the second half.
Their plight was not helped by inaccurate finishing in front of goal, which resulted in 1.9 after half-time and final scoreline of 5.17.
The TAC Cup fixture is part of a triple-header, with the GWV Rebels also playing TAC Cup Girls and under-16 development matches against Bendigo at the venue.
SCHEDULE
TAC CUP GIRLS – 11am
UNDER-16 DEVELOPMENT – 12.30pm
TAC CUP – 2.30pm
This is the first time all three programs have played together.
Meanwhile, the Rebels have selected four first-gamers for their third round of the inaugural TAC Cup Girls season.
Portia Hughes (Redan), Rebecca Sinclair (Lake Wendouree), Nicola Penny (Ballarat Grammar School) and Caitlyn Smith (South Warrnambool) will all debut as coach Jeff Whittaker continues to rotate his entire squad through the team.
Rebels talent manager Phil Partington has issued an open invitation coaches and the football community to attend to experience the professionalism of the TAC Cup program.
