They will have alpacas visiting stores on Saturday April 8 and Sunday April 9 between 10am and 3pm.
This is a great opportunity to get up close and personal with these unique animals. Bring your friends and family to feed them and have a photo to post to Facebook or Instagram! The best social media post over the weekend will win a $500 voucher.
Alpaca fleece is known as ‘fibre of the gods’ and offers superior softness due to its fibre size.
While offering similar warmth to wool it is much lighter in weight. Its semi hollow fibre structure and unique thermal properties enable it to release heat in warm conditions and trap warmth when it is cooler.
Creswick Woollen Mills is a great Australian story. Celebrating 70 years manufacturing in Australia the company is still family owned and run by the founders’ grandchildren. Since 1947 Creswick Woollen Mills has been a leader in Australian natural fibre design, sought after in Australia and around the world.
The Mill was a Gold Winner of the RACV Victorian Tourism Awards in 2016.
Alpacas will be visiting in the stores at Creswick Mill, Daylesford, Elsternwick, Melbourne City, Sassafras and Beechworth. More info contact 1800 338 837.
