Angus Gove (Horsham Saints), Matt Schnerring (Warrnambool) and Mar Gattek (South Warrnambool) will make their debuts in the under-18 football competition against Dandenong Stingrays at Bendigo’s Queen Elizabeth Oval on Saturday.
With two games under their belt, these are the first teams changes of the season.
Rebels talent manager Phil Partington said having St Patrick’s College students on a football trip in the Northern Territory had provided an opportunity to bring in some new players.
The Rebels are looking for a lift after losses to Geelong and Bendigo.
GWV girls and under-16 development teams also face Dandenong at the QEO on Friday. This is the fourth of five rounds for the girls.
