A graduation ceremony was hosted at Her Majesty’s Theatre Ballarat.
Catholic Education Ballarat director Audrey Brown delivered an address to graduates, their families and their friends.
Ballarat Campus dean Associate Professor Joe Fleming said that it was a great privilege to have Ms Brown formally address the graduates as they prepared for careers in education, arts and health.
“You see students gathered together and you can imagine their back story, the struggles, the trials and tribulations of juggling, family or work, it's very inspiring,” he said.
“The ceremony plays an important role in celebrating the hard work and achievements of so many students with the people who matter to them most.
“It is both humbling and exciting to have played a small part in each student’s journey to their chosen profession.”
Professor Fleming said the university had trained Ballarat region students for more than 25 years.
“Many of our graduates remain in the area where they continue to work and give back to the community,” he said.
“We urge all our graduates to never stop learning and to find where they can make the biggest impact and be brave in working to achieve it”.
