The Don Huntley Memorial Piano Recital will be held on Saturday 13th May at 7.30pm. This year’s recitalist is one of Australia’s finest pianists, is Caroline Alomonte, with a reputation as a gifted, versatile and sensitive artist. She completed her studies at the Juilliard School and has been the recipient of numerous Australian and international awards including the ABC Young Performer.

Alongside her performances Caroline continues a prolific teaching career at the University of Melbourne Conservatorium.
She has recently returned from residencies in new Zealand and China, teaching and performing at the International Piano Festival in Shanghai and with the Fujian Symphony Orchestra and Xiannen Philharmonic Orchestra.
The important important recital at the Wendouree Performing Arts Centre will feature Schubert ‘s Opus 90 Impromptus, the Chopin Scherzo No.3, Eagles Sonatina, and Liszt’s lilting Gondoliera e Tarantella (from Venezia e Napoli).
