A recent upgrade to the Fussell and Victoria street intersection has left local residents confused.

The intersection before the upgrade.
While the intersection is working well – the direction the streets signs should be facing seems to have been lost in translation.
A bemused resident contacted The Courier saying the Victoria Street sign directed drivers towards Fussell Street while the Fussell Street sign directed motorists toward Victoria Street.
She says the sign has not been twisted by residents and was installed incorrectly.
Come the weekend there may be some very confused tourists.
