Organiser Kate Kirkpatrick said hundreds of people took advantage of Tuesday’s public holiday securing themselves a long weekend to enjoy the five day Pyrenees Unearthed festival.
“The winery had a really good day, we had great sales, everyone enjoyed the atmosphere, the vibe, entertainment and overall the great regional promotion,” Ms Kirkpatrick said.
Seventeen wineries attended the event with food producers also showcasing their finest. Ms Kirkpatrick said the festival one of 22 events.
“We’ve got lots of campers in the region enjoying a three or four day weekend. It’s imperative that we continue to support our regional townships through these events.”
