The pair clashed heads after Walters laid a bump on the Demons midfielder, leaving him with his third concussion in 12 months.
It was graded as careless conduct with medium impact to the head, with Walters able to accept a one-match ban with an early guilty plea.
There was an initial concern for Brayshaw given his history of concussions, however Melbourne believes he will be fit to play next week.
