The collision occurred at Bannockburn near the intersection of Clyde Hill Road and the Midland Highway about 4.30pm on April 12.
The 75-year-old woman was airlifted to a Melbourne hospital with critical injuries after the accident but died yesterday on Anzac Day in hospital.
The Nissan sedan she was a passenger in was travelling southwest on Clyde Hill Road when it collided with a 4x4 utility on the Midland Highway.
The driver of the sedan, a 79-year-old man, died at the scene.
The occupants of the utility, a man, woman and a small child were conveyed to a Geelong hospital with minor injuries.
Eighty-six people have died on Victoria’s roads this year.
