The show opens at Her Majesty’s next month.
“The costumes alone in this production are months in the making – each it’s own piece of art with Steampunk inspiration cogs and clocks hand-created from hats to toes,” Mr Hollywood said.
“The teams of people have been building, sewing, dancing and singing since December to create the masterpieces you will see on stage.”
This year BLOC will team up with the Order of Saint John of Jerusalem Knights Hospitaller Ballarat to support to support the On Track Foundation Youth Scholarship Fund. The theatre will donate $5 from each ticket sold on opening night. The On Track Foundation who are best known for their Soup Bus also support students at risk to stay at school.
Wicked is already the 17th longest running show in London theatre history. Wicked will open at Her Majesty’s Theatre on Thursday, May 11 and run until May 21. Tickets at www.hermaj.com.
