Clunes staff joined forces with the Victorian Collections team and have been hard at work over recent weeks, uploading more than a whopping 3000 catalogue records online.
The website, which is free to use, makes it easy to navigate through thousands of photographs harking back to the idyllic town’s rich gold mining history.
Victorian Collections manager Belinda Ensor said the statewide project was about making collections more readily available to the wider public.
"This is an exciting time, as the digitisation of Victoria's heritage collections is really gaining momentum," she said.
"We're very happy to welcome llunes Museum to Victorian Collections."
