Following its impressive 80-point win over Calder Cannons last week, GWV Rebels have rewarded the playing group with the settled side.
Despite the impressive performance, which delivered the Rebels their first win of the season, coach Gerard FitzGerald said there were a couple of key focuses for the group.
Using the ball more aggressively in attack and giving its key targets the best opportunity to create one-on-one contests would be something the side looks to adhere to.
“It’s a bit of reward for the boys who did well last weekend,” FitzGerald said.
“It doesn’t really bother me whether we change it, with the modern philosophy of coaching you’ve got a certain number of players earmarked in a number of roles.
“The main focus on the review was our ability to be a bit more aggressive with the ball forward of centre...rather than trying to be perfect with our ball use.”
