More than 90 pupils attend the prep to grade 6 school at Mount Helen.
The pupils and their families welcomed the Ballarat community for a day of activities and school tours to offer an insight into how it operates.
Grade 5-6 teacher Svantje Mertens said the day allowed people to get to know what the school does.
“The school is about a way of educating and nurturing the children based on the Steiner philosophy,” she said.
“It is a holistic and artistic element that also appreciates the academic.”
The school’s curriculum, like other schools, is approved by the Australian Curriculum Assessment and Reporting Authority.
