Devils coach Heath Scotland said after the game that Graham and Jay Pearson had each been offered one-match suspensions after related incidents in the third quarter.
The players were both shown yellow cards and spent 15 minutes together on the sidelines.
However, the Ballarat Football Umpires Association have thrown out Pearson’s case leaving him available to play against Sunbury on Saturday.
BFNL operations manager Scott Carey said the only other report across the region over the weekend was another careless striking case for an under-18s player.
The tribunal hearing will be held on Tuesday night.
