An Ambulance Victoria spokeswoman confirmed paramedics were called to the Balliang East crash at the intersection of Geelong-Bacchus Marsh Road and Ballan Road at 9am.
Paramedics are treating one person for head, chest and leg injuries. The person was reportedly in a stable condition and were being loaded into a road ambulance at around 10am. The patient will be taken to the Royal Melbourne Hospital.
Traffic diversions are in place and motorists are urged to avoid the area.
