They will represent the Victorian Football League against the WAFL at Port Melbourne on Saturday.
Rippon has been named on a half forward flank and Hooper in a forward pocket.
Former East Point player Nick Hind, who is now on the Essendon VFL list, is an emergency.
Rippon is one of only six players in the team who have previously worn the Big V, with Hooper making his debut.
Richmond’s Sam Darley will captain the VFL, which is aiming to break a three-game losing streak.
West Australian teams have never won a state game in Victoria – a run of 23 matches spanning 113 years back to 1904.
The VFL named the final team on Thursday night, trimming a 27-man squad after a training run under head coach Justin Plapp.
