A randomised colour scheme of blues and greys – technically dark grey, sapphire and Notre Dame – is unfolding as seats are installed in the new western grandstand, four months out from the city’s first AFL premiership season match.
Victorian-based seating company Camatic is behind the project to seat about 5000 behinds in the stadium.
Key features of the seat are: auto flip-up; easy to be replaced if damaged; and, they are designed to be strong and robust for durability.
Seating is the first really noticeable step in fit-out of the finer details for Eureka Stadium.
The AFL and Western Bulldogs, who are hosting the clash, are yet to confirm when and how tickets will be released for the August 19 clash between the Bulldogs and Port Adelaide.
