It’s believed a large group of people were attending a function at the Invermay golf course about 4pm on March 25 before the duo sneaked onto the greens and drove off in the victim’s personally-owned cart.
Police said the two men may be able to assist with their enquiries in relation to theft and criminal damage.
Officers said the pair drove erratically around the course, causing significant damage to the green.
They eventually crashed the cart before ditching it and fleeing the scene.
