Investigators have been told unknown offenders entered an Atkinson Street home about 6.45am while a 61-year-old man slept.

While inside, they stole a television, computer, doona and the hearing aids, which were in a silver container.

The occupant of the house was undisturbed and woke up to discover the front door left open and items stolen.

Investigations remain ongoing.
